7-5-10 - By Dave Nett - The legend shows back up to light up the rest of the field for the 4th.after much anticipation the track promoters were very excited to get the word out that he was really here as the stands started to fill as word on he’s return spread. He looked over the rest of the field I do believe he realized the only cars that would have anything for him this night would be Jessica Pete and Ben he new the boys wouldn’t be intimidated by the legend because they had never raced with the legend Jessica on the other hand was the only driver that could put the legend in his place not only has she beaten him before but I think once she made him cry. And as much as I wanted to say suck it up buttercup But then she gave me a look that dam near made me cry but that’s a story for another time.

With the heats out of the way he made a few adjustments to the car and then took a seat next to miss Kris then news of the feature line came out he looked up and said reach up under the hood and pull a plug wire I said wait don’t mess with car you don’t have to go out there and lap the hole field just go out and keep it close have fun. So as the rest of the boys were scrambling to come up with a way to hang with the legend the legend was just chilling with miss Kris oh by the way I hear some drivers even cheated to try and be in the top ten. Nice! You all know the rest of the story with out me telling you kip won no big deal we new that’s how it would end but what you didn’t know was he stopped and got interviewed that was a first.

I think he got scared when he guy on the radio told him to stop on the front stretch I also think that from what I saw there was a lap or two that miss Jessica was on the bubble do I run my line or go mess with the legend she ran her line could she have beaten him or did she let the legend. wait lets not go there well never know. Also hats off to little fish for not stopping till you get the job done two flips in one race nice work. This reporter would like to say thank you to all the drivers and their cruse for yet another great show. Also hope to see some of the big wheels like bob Rick nick mark and Austin back at the track soon. you do know what dogs do to wheels don’t ya. And for you guys that have not gotten that checkered flag yet its coming and whets even better then winning is when the king of mini sprints himself Ron Brannam tells you to go home and don’t come back!
